This Privacy Policy explains what data IndexMachine (“we”, “us”) collects and how we use it. It applies to the IndexMachine website and application.
1. Account data
When you register we store your email address, a securely hashed password, your optional display name, and your workspace settings. We use this to operate your account and communicate with you about the Service.
2. Bot-traffic logs
To show you what crawls landed, we log search-bot requests that reach your network sites: timestamp, classified bot type, the visitor IP, the user-agent string, and the target URL the bot was redirected to. Human (non-bot) visitors are not redirected and are not logged. Raw logs are retained on a rolling window and then deleted; aggregated daily counts are kept for reporting.
3. Payment data
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store your full card details on our servers; we retain records of your credit purchases and balance.
4. Cookies
The application uses functional storage to keep you signed in. The marketing site uses minimal or no tracking. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Data retention & your rights
We keep account data for as long as your account is active. You can request access to, or deletion of, your personal data by contacting us. We will respond in line with applicable data-protection law.
