Setup in 7 steps

    Create an account & get credits

    Sign up at indexmachine.net. No subscription — you buy prepaid credits (1 credit = $0.01, from $10), and new accounts get 50 free credits, no credit card required.

    Copy your API key

    Open Dashboard → API and generate a personal key. Keep it private — it can spend your credits.

    Install the plugin

    In WordPress go to Plugins → Add New, search for IndexMachine, then Install → Activate. An “IndexMachine” menu appears in the admin sidebar. Installing from the directory is the easiest route and keeps the plugin updating itself.
    Prefer to do it by hand? download the zip and use Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.

    Enter your API key

    Open IndexMachine → Settings, paste the key, and Save. When it’s valid, your credit balance shows at the top. Set a project name, processing tier, and optional scheduled release here too.

    Turn on automatic submission (optional)

    Enable “Send automatically when published” so every new post/page is submitted on publish. You can also re-submit on update. Each submission spends credits per the selected tier.

    Submit existing content

    On the URLs screen, filter by Sent / Not-sent, tick specific items, or “Submit all not-yet-sent” in one run. Or use Sitemap import to pull URLs from your sitemap (it remembers what’s already been sent).

    Block pages you never want indexed

    Use “Block from indexing” in a post’s IndexMachine box, or the Block bulk action on the URLs screen. Blocked items are never submitted — not even automatically.

The base processing allowance per URL.

Priority

1.5 credits / URL

50% more processing per URL.

Maximum

2 credits / URL

Double the processing — for key pages.

Only the public URL of the content you submit is sent to IndexMachine — never your post content or visitor data. Bingbot crawls are included free as a bonus.
